How do I compress an image without uploading it?

Choose a JPEG, PNG or WebP image, set maximum dimensions and an output format, then press Resize & export. Processing happens in your browser; download the result after checking the preview.

Can I compress an image to exactly 100 KB?

This version does not target an exact file size. Lower the JPEG or WebP quality or pixel dimensions, export again and check the displayed output size. Compression may sometimes produce a larger file.

Does resizing keep the image proportions?

Yes. The image fits within both maximum dimensions while preserving its aspect ratio. Smaller images are never enlarged. PNG ignores the quality setting; JPEG turns transparency white.
